Who is a Good Samaritan?

The Sisters are inspired by the Gospel story of the Good Samaritan. The story that Jesus told challenges all of us to be Good Samaritan to our neighbour.

The Good Samaritan assisted an injured man, who was considered 'the enemy'. He had been attacked, stripped, beaten and left half dead on the side of the road. Many passers by ignored him.

This story invites the reader to always be respectful of cultural differences. All are to be helped. Jesus tells us to love our neighbour as we love ourselves.
